About
Welcome to the Textile Design Department at the Government Polytechnic for Girls, This Course is 3-Year regular Diploma designed especially for girl students. This Course is having Basics of Sketching, Drawing, Weaving Design, Dyeing-Printing, Textile Craft, Colour Matching, Fashion Design, etc. Along with these, Knowledge about fabric is also given which include study of Fibers & Yarn Manufacturing, Study of Loom and Different type of Weaves, including History of Textiles. This course Provide updated knowledge of COREL DRAW, PHOTO SHOP and FASHION STUDIO software. This course empower the girl student to start her own start up, Can make her career in the field of Fashion Designing & also work as designer, Quality analyst, Planning executive in any textile Industry and also can start her own boutique, Fashion Studio.

In this lab student will be able to develop fashion design and sewing skills as well as it encourages students to develop their own individual creative styles.

Lab is developed to perform practical related to dyeing the fibre, yarn and fabrics using various kinds of dyes.
