Finishing School (KCG)
About the Programme
The institute organizes Finishing School Training for final-year students with financial assistance from the Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat (KCG), Government of Gujarat. This initiative aims to enhance employability, communication, interpersonal, and workplace skills required by the industry.
Objectives
- Impart soft skills and spoken English training.
- Increase employability and lifelong learning skills.
- Prepare students for professional workplace behavior.

Spoken Tutorial (IIT Bombay)
An MOU has been signed between Government Polytechnic for Girls, Surat and Spoken Tutorials (ST), IIT Bombay under the aegis of the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat. This partnership aims to develop technical skills, ensuring students are industry-ready upon graduation.
The objective is to provide self-paced IT training through high-quality audio-video tutorials across various software and programming languages, significantly increasing student employability.

Wadhwani Foundation, established in 2001 by Silicon Valley entrepreneur Dr. Romesh Wadhwani, is a global non-profit committed to accelerating job growth in emerging economies and enabling millions to lead a dignified life.
The Gujarat Knowledge Society has signed an MOU with the Wadhwani Foundation in the presence of the Hon. Chief Minister and Hon. Education Minister of Gujarat State. This initiative aims to enhance the job prospects of students and cultivate their confidence in excelling during interviews.
Final-year students are encouraged to enroll on the Wadhwani Foundation LMS portal to participate in specialized training and avail maximum benefit from this global initiative.
